This is a collaboration between Professor Eleanor Mitchell from the University of Nottingham and Dr Jalemba Aluvaala from the University of Nairobi. The project is also supported by the Preemie Love Foundation and other Co–Investigators from the University of Nottingham, University of Nairobi and hospitals across Nairobi. The Nottingham Clinical Trials Unit (NCTU) and the Kenya Paediatric Research Consortium (Keprecon) and are coordinating the study.

We are deeply grateful to the group of 12 mothers who generously participated and actively contributed to the design of the study, and who continue to support the set up and delivery of the trial.
